McKenzy Cresswell is a talented young British racing driver, who began his racing journey after his family moved to Austin, Texas.

At 7 years old he discovered karting at an indoor kart facility in Austin known as K1 Speed. He was hooked immediately. The next 5 years were spent travelling all over the southern states of the US enjoying success in club, regional and national kart championships. McKenzy continued his karting career in 2018, after returning with his family to the UK, in the British Kart Championships driving for DSM Sport; a team local to him in Surrey.

In 2021, aged just 15, McKenzy exploded onto the single-seater racing scene with a spectacular rookie year in British Formula 4. He won more races (6), took more podiums (11), and claimed more fastest laps (6) than any of his competitors on his way to 3rd in the championship. Despite entering one fewer race than his title rivals, he finished just 26 points off 1st place.

For 2023, McKenzy continues in the UK’s most prestigious single-seater category, GB3, with Elite Motorsport.

McKenzy has also been selected for the BRDC Rising Star programme, which focuses on developing the most promising young British drivers.
