MEET MCKENZY
McKenzy is one of the UKs brightest talents in junior single seater motor racing. In his rookie year in British Formula 4 he won more races, secured more fastest laps and overall podiums than any of his competitors on his way to 3rd in the Championship.
He is widely acknowledged by paddock insiders as being one of the fastest drivers currently racing in the junior categories.
He was inducted into the BRDC Rising Star program after his performance in British Formula 4 and currently holds the unofficial lap record for GB3 cars at Silverstone and Spa.
Outside of motor racing, McKenzy is a high school senior and has already passed Advanced Placement Physics, History and Human Geography. He also plays basketball at Varsity level, is a keen skier and relaxes by fishing in the river Thames.
McKenzy takes his motor racing very seriously. He works regularly with Simon Reynolds, a legendary personal trainer with a storied background in Formula 1. This physical conditioning is combined with relentless sim work and study of onboard videos and other preparatory material.
McKenzy’s ambition is unequivocally Formula 1, but it won’t be an easy journey. If he makes it, his partners at the FIA F3 stage of his career will reap the rewards of building that relationship early. The reach of Formula 1 has never been higher, and McKenzy would like nothing more than to reward the loyalty of his early supporters with unfettered access to all that Formula 1 can offer.
